 It might seem silly, but wild kratts was one of the main reasons for my love for animals and care for them. Since the age of 8 I've watched almost every episode and learnt so much about animals. Seeing them rescue animals and seeing their knowledge and their work with teaching kids about animals. It inspired me to be like them in a way, where I can teach others about the importance of helping animals. Watching them since I was young influenced me to be like them and to rescue animals from bad people. Seeing the wild kratt brothers rescue animals from selfish people much like in real life, using them for clothing, foods, and to do their work, relating to real life. The brothers influenced me to be like them and to rescue these animals from evil people, and to fight against the continuation of animal harm just for the pleasure of some people.  I've always loved animals. Growing up with them, my whole childhood revolved around liking them.  A lot of my childhood animals died or suffered because they had no one to help them. I understand the pain people go through when losing a loved pet which is why I want to work hard and be able to help those animals. Having countless toys of any animal, to watching animal cartoons, I've always wanted to help animals which is why for my magazine that's my topic.  To help animals in any way possible. Overtime as I grew up I noticed how bad some humans treated animals like abusing them or rejecting help because of money. These greedy people have purposely let animals suffer just because of their own benefit. I want to bring focus and attention to this subject because many people say "I care about animals", and end up doing nothing when available.  In class, I was asked many different questions such as "What your passionate about?", "Hobbies?", and "What would you do to fix the world?", I was left to ponder on these questions and then told to look through a lot of themes and find 3 that fit me. I was also supposed to alter some words to my liking to match how I felt about it.  I  chose "Above the rest", I changed it to "Above the competition because I thought of how I feel when I'm fighting in tournaments. I've always gotten first and it makes me feel like I'm on top of the world, like I'm on top of the competition. Getting these gold metals has made me feel accomplished knowing I was the best out of everyone multiple times.   My name is Axel De La Vega, and I'm taking Aice Media Studies because a friend recommended it to me and to get my AICE Diploma. I'm a sophomore at Pembroke Pines Charter Highschool, some things about me and my personality is that I am very friends oriented. My friends are some of the most important people in my life who help me go on everyday in school and out. I consider myself very athletic due to the fact I go to the gym a lot always active.  I've done a couple of martial arts including karate when I was younger and Brazilian Jiujitsu currently. Jiujitsu is one of the main things in my life since I take it very seriously and compete monthly. I consider myself good at it since I haven't lost a single tournament and gotten gold in all.
